Most people can probably agree that 2020 did not turn out as expected and the new year is a much-appreciated opportunity to start anew. But, even though 2020 was, in lack of other words, weird, it was in no way a lost year.
With Bimfire Tools on the market for about a year, we have been able to form new relationships in the form of new partnerships and collaborations. The conversations we have had has been very meaningful and we have learned and grown.
Bimfire has during 2020 been an active and visible actor in the construction- and property industry. We have been featured in Swedish industry papers such as Bygg & Teknik and Husbyggaren, as well as invited as speakers on events such as BIM Forum and the BIM Hour by Symetri. In November we were included in Planima´s map over important and innovative PropTech-startups and in December we had the honour to win the BA Tech Award for most innovative PropTech. All in all, it has been an eventful year also from the Bimfire perspective.
It is important to remember that a new year doesn´t simply mean resetting the world. We are still affected by the Coronavirus pandemic, as indivudals as well as a society. For the construction sector 2021 will be abot rebuilding and recovering. But it´s not all dark clouds in the sky, Sweden for example has seen a record in housing investment in public premises. And with a vaccine arriving to Europe and UK at the turn of the year, things are looking up.
As a little new year treat, we can tell you that cool things are happening in January. We have worked hard the past months to be able to bring you even better experiences. In a few weeks’ time we’ll show you what we have been up to. Make sure to keep an eye out.
